Keep Roswell Beautiful offers an easy way for local groups to get involved in the community through the Adopt-A-Road program. Co-sponsored by the City of Roswell’s Environmental/Public Works Department, Adopt-A-Road cleanups have an immediate and visible impact on our environment by removing litter along roadsides. We provide trash bags and yellow safety vests. The Roswell DOT provides and installs a road sign designating sections of roadway as “belonging” to your organization.
Volunteer groups are committed to cleaning up litter along more than 75 sections of Roswell’s roads throughout the year.
Groups are responsible for coordinating their volunteers for litter cleanup on an as-needed basis, with a minimum of four cleanups per year. After each cleanup, simply report your results via the online form. Program participants must be at least 12 years old due to safety precautions.
For more information on how your group can make a positive impact along Roswell’s roadways, contact AdoptARoad@roswellgov.com.
